Nate

Hi, my name is Nate and I am a super cute boy of not yet 2 years of age who needs to find a new home because the old dog I live with simply can't cope with me anymore. She has an auto immune disease and hip problems and is increasingly getting aggressive with me because I love her to bits and follow her around constantly pestering her to play with me and don't understand why she doesn't want to. This is an unsafe situation for me and the young children I live with and not fair on her so my owner has made the very hard decision to surrender me even though I am a much loved and important part of their family.

I really enjoy the children and am always jumping up to lick them and follow them around but am a little too excitable and silly around them at times. They are only young and I would better suit a home with teenagers.

I am great in the car, am housetrained and love going for walks. I am scared of the ironing board after it fell next to me once and try hard with my obedience training, although I struggle with drop and stay.

I currently live with a cat but like to chase it plus any other small animals so perhaps I better not go to a house with anything little like that.

Whoever adopts me must be prepared to take me to dog obedience to teach me manners. However I am a lovely affectionate dog and will make a wonderful addition to a family who perhaps has a similar very dog friendly young female dog for me to play with.
