About Louie (On Trial 31/12/14)~ Maltese x shih tzu
Louie is a gorgeous, little, Maltese x shih tzu, male, 2 years old. He doesn’t mind being around other dogs, but is used to being by himself, and is more of a people dog. Louie is extremely affectionate and loves attention and being with you.
He is house trained and understands basic commands like sit etc, coming to his name and just wants to be by your side. Louie must be an inside dog.
Louie has a non-shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep him comfortable and beautiful.
He adores his toys and keeps a close eye on where they are at all times.
If you would like to meet Louie, please contact Karen by email plumb2a@bigpond.com or ph 0411263304. Louie is in foster care on Central Coast NSW
Louie’s $500 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
