About Chanti
I'm Chanti, I am a very sweet tabby girl with striking and lovely colouring. I can be a little shy, but my confidence is growing every day! Once I trust you, feel free to shower me with gentle pats and cuddles and get my purry motor running.
MY IDEAL HOME: I do enjoy the company of people, but I also like a quiet spot I can retreat to when it all gets too much. I'll need a little bit of patience and understanding from my furrever family while I learn to feel safe and secure in my new environment.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kittenish! I'm naturally playful, with a special fondness for my mouse-on-a-stick toy.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: As a sensitive little soul, I will be happiest in a family with children of primary-school age or older.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I have regular playdates with my two siblings who are in foster care around the corner, which I absolutely adore. The resident dog in my foster home is a bit big and scary, but it's juuust possible we'll be friends in time!
If you have any resident pets, introductions should always be careful, slow and supervised - and particularly so with a shy kitten like me.
*Chanti will be ready for her furrever home in mid-January, when her kitten vetwork is complete. In the meantime she is available for meet-and-greets and pre-adoption! Chanti is in foster care in Campbelltown, Sydney*
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
