Meet Miss Rubi!

Miss Rubi is an affectionate, playful, excitable, funny and loving little girl looking for a loving forever home!

This beautiful and brave girl was saved from a terrible situation. Rubi was unfortunately kicked in the head as a puppy by a very bad person, leaving her with a terrible head tremor. It was very bad when she was young but after a lot of TLC and rehabilitation she now only has a very inconstant tremor that may be with her for life. Our vets are happy with her health and are confident that this tremor should not cause her any ongoing health issues.

Miss Rubi LOVES her cuddle sessions with her humans. She also loves to sleep on the bed or on the couch/floor resting her head on a cushion like a princess :)

Rubi gets along with cats, dogs and kids!

She loves to play tug of war and chase you around the garden until she runs out of energy! She eats and drinks well and likes to splash her front paws in her water bowl occasionally.

We believe Rubi will grow to be a small-medium sized adult dog but this is just our guess. She is well house trained and will alert you when she has to go to the toilet. She is not a big barker also but will bark at something if she gets excited!

Rubi has some basic obedience training but ongoing training in a professional class environment will be essential in her new home to ensure that she grows to be a well mannered adult dog. She is a very intelligent girl and picks up new things very quickly.

She would best suit a home with another friendly dog to keep her company, one where she could be a part of the family and sleep indoors, one where she will be exercised DAILY and one where she will get the training that she needs.

A very easy girl to love, she will fit into any loving family with ease!
