About Rusty
Rusty is quite a timid boy and follows Gemma around a fair bit. His goal in life is to please you. He loves to chase his toys outside and adores his squeaky toys. Rusty is a cuddle bug and would happily spend his whole life in your lap. He also enjoys his bones and eats a little bit less than Gemma. He's a sweet natured, happy boy.
Rusty along with his sister Gemma have recently lost their mum to cancer. They have grown up together from pups and will need to be rehomed together.
Both Rusty and Gemma are great with cats and would happily co-exist in a home with them. They walk well on leash and love to go for walks or outings with the family. They are both beautiful natured dogs who understand 'No' and 'on your bed' commands and will stop barking with a simple clap of the hands. They have come from an extremely loving home and we would love to fulfill their mums wishes to find them another loving home where they can become part of a family again.
Wally's like all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they feel part of the family.
Rusty is located in Newcastle, NSW where he lives with his foster family.

When enquiring about Rusty, please give us some indication of the type of home that he/she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog/pup may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
