About Cleo ~ On Trial 1/1/15
Cleo is a very friendly and gentle 18 month young girl who absolutely adores children and people of all ages. Cleo is a medium size and is a mix of collie x heeler x kelpie x staffy.
Cleo loves to play with toys, she will bring a toy to you and put it in your lap or rub against you so that you'll throw it for her. She has good basic commands, she will sit and wait patiently for food and is happy to share. If children go near her food bowl she will walk away. She loves to go for a morning walk or run, so if you are a jogger then Cleo would love to be your running buddy. She is good off lead when running too.
Cleo loves to go for drives in the car, she's happy to ride shotgun if you travel a bit. If you are into outdoor adventures or activities then Cleo would love to come along for the ride. She is very dog social with dogs of all ages, so she would go very well in a home with a friendly play buddy. She is very gentle with children, she won't jump on them and she likes to share. \ Cleo isn't a barker and is easily pleased with a consistent routine and love from her family.
Cleo isn't a jumper, but she does need fences that go all the way to the ground and that are medium height of around 5 foot. She is used to sleeping and being outside, however she would love a furever family who will allow her to be inside when they are at home. She learns quickly so she will happily adapt to being well mannered inside.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
