Smidge (On hold pending adopt) ~ purebred Corgi

Smidge is a delightful, 4 yr old, female, purebred Pembroke Corgi. She has a beautiful calm nature, with perfect manners. She is loving, quiet, intelligent, obedient, and responsive to commands. Smidge is engaging and always happy to please her human companion. I can't say enough good things about this lovely dog.

Smidge is excellent with children (she is very gentle, does not jump up and keeps her head away from their faces). She's also great with cats and dogs. She has been living with three other small dogs she plays with them and enjoys their company. She also enjoys just relaxing with us while watching TV or following us around and being part of daily activities.

Smidge is very quiet and does not bark, with the rare exception being to bring your attention to something and then it is only a single bark. She walks well on the lead without pulling. She is very social in all situations, housetrained, happy to eat anything given, loves to be brushed to keep her coat beautiful, stands still and lets you bath her, in fact Smidge is a complete gem!

Smidge's favourite pastime is just being with you and being part of a family, sharing time together inside relaxing, but also having time with us in our garden. \ Smidge is an inside girl, housetrained and very clean. She loves to share the settee (if allowed) but is just as happy on the floor. She currently sleeps in our bedroom. She must be allowed to sleep inside in her forever home.

She is gorgeous and if you are sitting down she will ask if she can have a hug and just put her two front paws on your knees (very politely), but she never jumps up onto your lap, you have to lift her, and that is a special moment for her that makes her very happy.

Smidge shows no aggression to anything or anyone, and has a wonderful demure personality and is perfect to fit into a family or single person home. She is a wonderful companion and has unmeasurable love to dote and lavish on her new forever person with many years ahead to share life together. We just can't fault this darling girl.
