About Dante
Dante is a big, lovable, sweet-natured guy who loves hanging out with the dogs and kids at his foster home.
If you love all things big dog then Dante is the pup for you! He has big loving eyes, big paws, the biggest softest heart and of course big soft velvety ears that you cant resist stroking.
Picture walking through the door at the end of the day, kicking off your shoes and having this gorgeous boofy boy come and lay his head in your lap for a welcome-home smooch... Dante is a gentle and loyal young dog who wants nothing more than the comfort and security of a loving forever home.
MY IDEAL HOME: I adore people, and my perfect family would be just about anyone who loves big dogs and is keen for me to be really involved in their day-to-day life.
I'm a quick learner and I enjoy going for walks, learning to do my obedience (especially the treats when I get it right!) and my foster mum says I am a delight.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I am not overly energetic, but keeping me exercised is going to mean I stay fit and healthy, mentally stimulated and it will be good for you too!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm definitely a family guy! I love the 6, 8 and 10-year-old kids I live with - I take treats gently and happily obey their basic commands. I am also easygoing enough to be walked by the children on a lead.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I live with other dogs and we have a terrific time together. I'm pretty laid-back so it's possible I'll get along with cats too, but I haven't met any cats yet.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
