About Jessie Nugget ~ English Staffy (on trial 13/4/15)
Hello there. My name is Jessie Nugget. My foster parents call me Nugget because I need to lose a bit of weight. I am an absolutely delightful 10 year old, female, English Staffy, but don't let my age fool you, I am a little ball of energy and I just love love love my humans!
I am fine being indoors or outdoors, when you leave just show me where my bed is and I'll climb right in and wait for you to get back. A doggie door would be really cool. When you get home I would really love to come inside and spend some quality time with my favourite people.
I would like to go to a home with someone who allows me on the couch every now and then to get closer to you. I have so much love to give down here, I just need to get to your height. I might need some help getting up to the couch because I am developing some arthritis in my back legs. I am a compact girl, not big dog.
I am not very good with sharing my humans with other dogs. I'll tell them to move away before you can say "who's a good girl", so I need to be the only dog in the family.
I'm not much of a morning person (really, who is?) and though I won't complain, I'd really like to be taken for more than one walk a day so I can explore the world with you. They don't have to be big or fast walks if you don't have a lot of time, just a nice stroll around the neighbour will keep my quite happy if you can manage it.
So if you're looking for a little girl who can't stop wagging her tail the moment you look at her, and likes to go on adventures, I'm the one for you!

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
