Indie *On Trial in Her New Home*

*INDIE IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Meet Indie, she’s a super friendly pup who puts 110% enthusiasm into everything she does, from greeting her beloved humans to playing with her toys! \ She’s looking for a fun-loving forever home who will give her the attention she so deserves; will it be with you?

Adorable Indie was bought as company for her owners’ disabled son but as his condition has sadly worsened unfortunately Indie is a bit too rambunctious and accidently knocks him over in her playful enthusiasm. It’s because of this that we wouldn’t recommend her to a home with young children – she’d be better suited to young teens or older with some dog experience.

Miss Indie is your typical friendly, human loving Staffy! \ She enjoys playing with her toys and she’s always up for a game of tug-o-war or some rough and tumble with anyone who wants to join in. Apart from spending time on occasion with some family members German Shepherds, Indie hasn’t had much contact with other dogs, so some socialisation in her forever home is a must. She’s a bit too boisterous for the household cat who tends to stay out of her way as Indie will give chase if she runs; she just wants to have fun! \

Indie’s not a water baby though doesn’t mind a bath and she’s definitely not a yapper, in fact her owner has rarely heard her bark.

Loveable Indie has a lot of energy and passion and does tend to jump up a fair bit especially when you first step into her backyard (she’s excited to have company!) though she eventually quietens down and is quite content to potter around the yard with you. She is toilet trained but due to the cat being indoors doesn’t get to spend much time inside although Staffies are happiest inside with the family and they shed little hair, so we’d love to see her having more of an indoor / outdoor lifestyle in her forever home. Indie sits well on command especially when there are treats involved and being food-orientated it makes it easier for training. She is very smart and seems to figure things out quite quickly especially when they benefit her! She enjoys going for a walk and wears a Halti as like most Staffies she is quite strong.

Indie would love a home where she wasn’t on her own for long periods of time 5 days per week while her owner is at work or she might get bored and up to mischief. Ongoing training as well as daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to play with will make Indie very happy indeed!
