About Rox (On Trial 11/1/15)~ male Fox Terrier
Hi there! My name is Rox and I am an infectiously playful, 9 year old, fox terrier boy. I love running, jumping, long strolls and playing with others. Below is a quick list of reasons why I should get the position of Awesome Dog in House!
My kind foster carers have given me the confidence to enjoy my days. They have taught me some basic manners too. I can sit, stay, lie down and even wait until I am told I can eat!
I get along great with other dogs and have basic house training. Although like all dogs, I have the occasional oops.
I love food! Cooked mince with rice, dry food, can food, raw mince, YUM! As a short haired dog I am easy to maintain, just a brushing and occasional bath is all it takes to keep me so handsome!
I sleep on my favourite blanket, which I will bring to my new home. I am an indoor dog and really need to be inside with you when you are home. You will love me so much you will want me to be with you too. Like so many dogs, I really don’t like thunderstorms. They make me scared and if I am outside I have been known to perform Houdini Acts on fences up to 4ft high! So, just bring me inside to keep me safe please.
I do love car rides but I sometimes get a bit too excited and have trouble sitting still, but seriously, have you seen what's out the window? A little reminder usually gets my head back in the game and keeps me grounded.
I am ready for my next adventure and new family to love. I promise to give lots of affection and laughs to my new family!
Lots of Licks, Rox

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
