About Danika (C2416) *Adopted*
Startled, me? No, I’m just checking you out from the comfort of my boudoir, err I mean bed. I lurve my bed. I’ll quite like your beds too but don’t find them comfy after a while, usually just while you are making a fuss of me, before you start fidgeting and snoring. Sometimes when you’re on your feet I like to request a dance and smooch round your legs – it can be great for your fitness.
\
So, what can I tell you about me? Being the grand old age of one, I’m no longer a kitten so will get overlooked which seems crazy to me as I use my own loo, my scratchpost is to die for and I won’t pester you like pesky kittens. \ Don’t get me wrong - if you want to see me acting like a little firecracker then just shake a feather stick in my direction or throw a few soft balls around for me. I love to lick your toes and feet too: my cat pal told me not to mention this but I think it’s a lovely way to repay your kindness and surely it’s helpful in your cleanliness? Ooooh food, yes, I also love my wet food with the gravy mm mmmmm, sometimes I think I may roll like a dog but obviously wouldn’t lower myself.
Well, I better let my foster mum have her say ……
Foster mum says: Danika, if you can believe it, starts off quite shy. She will find a safe place to take herself off to while she gets used to you and your routines. \ She enjoys following you around or just keeping an eye on you. When I’m pottering about in the garden, Danika enjoys watching me from the safety of the house and often talks quietly to me through the window. She can get quite chatty but never loud. Danika would be great company for a single person, a couple or a family with older children and should be introduced very slowly to any other pets.
Danika is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and toilet trained. She can be flown cheaply and easily to her new home thanks to our ongoing support from QANTAS Air Freight and the Toll Group. SAFE’s successful fostering program relies largely on flying animals from remote areas to their new homes in other parts of WA and interstate. You can feel safe to adopt long distance because SAFE animals come with a “lifetime guarantee“. This means if they are not able to stay in your care for whatever reason, SAFE will always take them back, as we ensure that both humans and animals alike are happy with the match.
