About Shari ~ On Trial 12/1/15
Shari is a small 5 year old smooth coat Jack Russell Terrier x . Shari has a gorgeous white coat with tan markings with a petite and very pretty face. \ She has a friendly and gentle nature with people, and she is very fond of children of all ages. Shari loves human contact and loves to settle herself on your lap for cuddles and pats.
Shari has basic training – she sits and is learning to walk well on the lead. She can pull a little but she finds walks so exciting that she wants to smell and see everything. She loves going for rides in the car and enjoys outings where she gets to meet different people.
Shari loves her food and enjoys a good game of tug-of-war with tug toys and she plays ball too. She would make a great companion for kids of any ages as she wouldn’t knock them over even when they are playing fun games. Shari is quiet and doesn’t bark, she loves to be inside with the family when they are home and will go outside when she needs to go to the toilet.
Shari sleeps the whole night through on her own doggy bed in the bedroom. During the day she will happily follow you around the house watching what you are doing or sit by your feet.
Shari is well mannered with cats and is best suited to home without another dog. She is very wary of large dogs and can feel the need to protect herself. Shari’s furever home will need to allow her inside when they are home and she needs to be allowed to sleep inside

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
