About Wisdom (On Trial 20/1/15) - by name and nature
Hi there, Wisdom here. Whoever named me got it right because I am a really smart girl, even if I do say so myself. I am 12 months and am a staffy cross. I am a very happy and friendly pooch and I love to play with other dogs.
This keeps me busy and, because I am a really good jumper and climber, it also keeps me out of mischief. I would ideally love a permanent home with at least one other dog because I don’t like being alone.
I am happy sleeping anywhere – kennel, dog bed or inside with the family. At the moment, I am in foster care with two other dogs (that I get along really well with) and a cat. I like the cat, but I get the distinct feeling that the cat doesn’t like me. I am also very good and gentle with children.
I am really low maintenance - I only need to be bathed once or twice a fortnight and brushed a few times a week. I am not a fussy eater and I like Black Hawk dog food, chicken wings, raw bones and the occasional treat. I am still learning commands like ‘Sit’, ‘Come’, and ‘Stay’ and I am learning how to walk on a lead. My foster mum says I have the biggest, waggiest tail of them all and will make the right family a great companion.
For more information or to meet Wisdom, please contact Nora on or 0418 402 150 or email: drnmudgeebrancha@yahoo.com. Wisdom is in foster care in Parkes, NSW.
She is not available adoption outside of NSW and ACT
.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
