About Champ(girl)(trial 17/1/15) ~ good w kids and dogs
Meet Champ, she is a gorgeous little 8 month old Staffy X . Champ is a really happy playful pup, with her unique black spot on her eye and pointy ears makes her extra cute. Champ is a very loving pup who loves a pat, scratches on the belly and cuddles.
Champ is quick learner who sits, walks on a lead perfectly (no tugging or pulling) and comes when she is called, with more training Champ will be shaking hands in no time.
Champ is well socialised with other dogs and children - they all get along great. She will adapt beautifully to a new home as she is a little social butterfly.
Champ loves the water, she has been splashing around in the water shell we have in the back yard and I’m sure she will be a great companion at the beach. Champ loves playing fetch with a tennis ball, running around the yard, and she also loves playing tug-o-war with a rope with our dog (it’s very entertaining to watch).
Champ will be suited to a family with children and other dogs or a couple who will give her a lot of time and attention. Champ needs the chance to be a part of a loving home and will slot in nicely no matter the situation, she will bring joy and happiness to any home.
Champ will grow to be a medium size dog; she has the build of a small Staffy.
If you feel you can give Champ her forever home or to meet Champ, please contact his foster carer Teagan on 0423 338 872 or email Teagan.r@mainstreamindustries.com.au.
Champ is in foster care in Beresfield a suburb of Newcastle, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Champ’s adoption fee is only $400 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, micro chipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
