Hi! My name’s Hudson and I’m told I’m a big cuddly goof who is always making my foster mum and dad laugh. Everyone who meets me loves me! Which is great because my second most favourite thing in the world is getting cuddles and pats. My first favourite thing is food!!!
I didn’t have many manners when I first came to stay, but because I love food so much I am learning really quickly. I’ve learned how to sit, drop, back up and come...most of the time! There is so much fun stuff going on in the world I can get a bit distracted, but I’m learning. I even know that I have to sit and be patient until I’m told I can eat my dinner and that I’m not allowed in the kitchen or past the front stairs without a human. Even though I love all food, I am a little bit sensitive and need a good quality diet.
I love to play with other dogs! If you have another dog we’ll be the best of friends, especially if they have lots of energy and will play a little bit rough with me. I sometimes forget that I’m a bit bigger than most dogs so need to be reminded to play gentle, and I try my best! I’d love a home with another dog, especially if you’re not at home a lot, but I do fine on my own outside when my foster sister isn’t at home and am happy lying around the garden in the sun.
My foster mum and dad think I’d be great with older kids! They’re not so sure about smaller children because my big tail is constantly wagging and they think it would hurt someone small. I’ve never met a cat or other animals so I don’t know what I think of them yet.
