Dawson (Trial 23/12/14)~Cocker Spaniel x BC x Lab

Dawson is a 10 week old, male, Cocker Spaniel x Border Collie x Labrador puppy. He is a very quiet, gentle soul who just wants to be loved. He is a very cuddly boy.

Dawson has been very well socialised with other dogs and puppies and gets along fabulously with dogs of all different breeds, sizes and ages. I don't have a cat but he is young enough to think of a cat as just another playmate.

Dawson enjoys romping in the yard with our other dogs and playing with all sorts of toys. He enjoys splashing in paddle pool to cool off on a hot day. I think he'll love visits to the beach or lake.

Dawson must be welcome in the house to be part of the family, and to sleep inside. He loves to be with people and would get lonely outside. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

Dawson will grow up to be a medium sized dog. You will need solid fencing with solid material underneath such sleepers or concrete and no small gaps. He cannot go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire). Gates need to have locks on them to discourage dog thieves (sad but true).

Dawson is a calm placid puppy who will be wonderful with children 10 years and older. He needs a home where there is someone who doesn't work full time, such as a stay-at-home parent or retired person. It would be wonderful, but not a requirement, for Dawson to have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate.

Dawson is available for adoption to the following areas: Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens. He is not available for Interstate adoption.
