About Puppy Bentley (On trial 4/1/15) ~ Am Staff
Bentley is a beautiful 8 week old, male, American Staffy x pup. A typical puppy, he loves to play with other dogs, cats and even our rabbit. He's a very relaxed little man. He is small for his age but don't let that fool you he is a ball of energy. We think he'll grow up to be a large dog.
Bentley is an inside puppy and he will need to be welcome inside in his forever home, even after he's an adult. Currently, he goes outside for play time and toileting. We have begun housetraining him and he is doing very well. He doesn't wet his bed overnight. He is still too young to have full control though so he will need to have housetraining continued in his forever home.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Bentley will be available to go to his forever home in January because he is still too young, so this profile is for expression of interest only. You can meet him now and pay a deposit if approved then you can take him home when he's ready.
If you would like more information about Bentley please email Christy at christyboyle1983@hotmail.com. Bentley is currently in care Port Macquarie, NSW on the mid North coast.
Bentley's adoption fee is only $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
