About Bambi *On Trial in Her New Home*
*BAMBI IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Bambi is a little bundle of energy! At not quite 8 months old she is a dainty little sweetie who is always up for a bit of fun. She is a friendly, bouncy puppy who just wants to be part of a loving household; will it be with you?
Adorable Bambi would love a home where she’s allowed inside and would benefit from a canine companion if you’re away for much of the day. She just adores people and laps up all the cuddles and affection she can get; rolling over for her fave belly rubs. She’s one of those happy little dogs whose tail never stops wagging plus she’s got a great Staffy smile!
Bambi’s a busy little girl who’d be perfect for an active owner. She walks very well on a lead and looks forward to her daily walk which usually goes for an hour though a bit less on hot days; she’ll let you know when she’s tired. Clever Bambi will 'sit' and 'drop' for Schmackos and she comes running immediately to a whistle or her name, so she has excellent recall. She will retrieve a ball and drop it at your feet in the hope you’ll play fetch with her or better yet give her another Schmacko! Bambi is eager to learn.
Loveable Bambi is submissive yet playful with other dogs so a doggie friend with similar energy levels would suit her best and she’s also fine around cats having grown up with two. She reckons children are fun though due to her high-energy levels older children would be better as she may accidentally knock over a toddler in her playful exuberance.
Adventurous Bambi enjoys a walk to the Murray River where she can explore and splash about. She’s not too keen on car travel (she gets carsick) though her foster carer is helping her gain some more experience with this and she’s improving. She’s not so fond of bathtime preferring warm water than just plain old tapwater.
Bambi is toilet trained and sleeps inside at night. She loves to play with her toys on her bed and will bring in extra toys from outside. She enjoys a snuggle on the couch with you while you watch tv or she’ll hop in her beanbag for a snooze. Bambi is also crate-trained and does travel better in a car if she’s in her crate. She loves food and has been eating dry food, raw bones plus cooked chicken and vegies although she’s not really a fan of vegies but supposedly they’re good for her. She likes hard-boiled eggs which her carer gives her as a treat and she LOVES peanut butter in her Kong toy; given peanut butter on bread she will lick the peanut butter off before eating the bread she loves it that much!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
