About Cody (On Trial 15/1/15)~ Chihuahua, long haired
Cody is a loveable 4 year old, male, long haired Chihuahua who is waiting patiently to meet a new family to love. He is very cute, with one little white sock on his left foot.
Cody enjoys spending the day playing with 2 other dogs and resting on his bed in his kennel inside at night. He loves his daily walk, his bath, long back scratches, his food, treats and even riding in the car to the beach.
Cody was a little unsure of his new surroundings at first when he came into foster care but now he is more happy and confident after just 2 weeks.
Cody is only small, weighing only 4 kgs so he does not eat much and is easy to pick up and carry. He is a great little security guard for the home, which is an asset these days. He has a soft little bark which notifies you that a visitor has arrived and will settle quickly with reassurance and a gentle pat.
Cody would make a great companion for the lonely, the adventurer, the softie, the family, the couple - anyone really who has a loving home with a secure yard to offer this little man.
For more information or to meet Cody, please contact his foster carer Rowena 0423849408 Hm 40091846 email rowenagmurray@gmail.com. Cody is in foster care in Lambton, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Cody's adoption fee is only $400 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
