About Rocky
Little Rocky is a real sweetheart. He is a tiny little pocket rocket weighing only 2.5kg. Rocky was surrendered to us due to a marriage break up.
Rocky has lived with small children his whole life and he is very social and sweet. He loves to roll onto his back in your arms and will sneak in a quick lick to the face whenever he can. He is quiet, affectionate and very gentle. We are confident that he would do well in a family with gentle children, as he has lived his whole life with a family of young boisterous boys!
He was surrendered to us alongside his dad Tim Tam, however we discovered straight away that the boys don't get along! Being entire males, Tim Tam had developed a pattern of picking on Rocky. Rocky is very sweet and submissive, so we trialed separating the boys. Immediately, Rocky came out of his shell and loves playing with other friendly dogs who don't bully him. Tim Tam on the other hand went off and cuddled up to the cats! Both Timmy and Rocky are doing so well apart from each other, we have decided to adopt them seperately.

Medical notes
Rocky has been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. He had retained baby teeth that should have been removed years ago, so he had dental surgery and scale and polish as well. He has been treated with Panoramis parasite prevention.
He is happy and healthy and looking forward to his new home!
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please email chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com for an Adoption Application. From there, we will be in contact with you within 48 hours to talk further about your application and if successful, to arrange a meet and greet.
Prior to adoption, all dogs will need to have a meet and greet with their family, and a house check will be done. All adoptions are subject to a two week trial to ensure your new friend fits in well with your household.
We have many dogs that are in foster care and are not yet ready to be listed for a variety of reasons. If you have a good idea of what you are looking for in your new dog please email us at chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com and let us help you match a dog to your needs.
