About Buster ~ adopted 25/1/15 by carer
Buster is a well behaved Staffy X puppy, 6 to 7 months old. He is very affectionate and active and would make an ideal companion to a family or anyone who could give him lots of love.
Buster gets on well with people and other dogs and has been exposed to many dogs at one time.
At present he sleeps on the bed but settles very quickly and cuddles up to sleep through the night.
He \ responds really well to food training and has learnt to sit in a very short time. He loves food but never shows aggression at feed time. He had a very rough beginning but has shown no negative side effects because of this.
He is a very happy dog and smiles all the time.
Buster is very low maintenance with a coat that can easily be cared for by just the occasional bath and brushing. He is medium to large size. He needs to spend time inside each day to enjoy the company of his beloved human family.
Buster would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but would also be happy sharing the love with other animals in the home.
If you feel you can provide this super friendly boy with a loving, forever home, please contact Diane on 0425 200 721 (preferred) or dipamp4@bigpond.com. Buster is in foster care in Salamander Bay NSW (Port Stephens).
Buster’s adoption fee is $400 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Healthy, happy boy.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
