About Jezebelle and Magnum (On Trial 20/12/14)
Meet Jezebelle (12yo girl) and Magnum (13yo boy) Silkie x Shih Tzu pair. They are healthy, happy, lovable and oh so cute. They are housetrained, and sleep in the laundry with 3 other dogs, where they have access to outside via a doggy door.
Jezebelle and Magnum have basic training and can sit and come. They adore going on small walks or just relaxing on the lounge with you and enjoying stroking and cuddles. Jezebelle also likes to spend time grooming her mate Magnum to keep him looking his best and also playing with him. Magnum has mastered "sit pretty" to melt your heart and earn a treat!
They get along very well with other dogs, and they are also friendly to cats. The pair previously lived in a home with a 10yo child but they would not suit a family with infant children. They are inside dogs.
They are low shedding so need regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every few months) to keep them comfortable and beautiful.
Their diet consists of wet and dry food, and they particularly love chicken wings, sardines and treats. They would be suited to a home where someone is home most of the day and also a home that would be happy to take her them both as they love each other and need to stay together. They will love you too and be very devoted.
If you are interested in adopting Jezebelle and Magnum, please contact their foster carer Louise by email l.scott2@bigpond.com or by phoning 0411 956 694. They are in Balmoral, NSW 2283 (Lake Macquarie).
Jezebelle and Magnum's adoption fee is only $100 for the pair and includes their desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registrations.
Medical notes
Magnum is blind in one eye but this does not affect his activities
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
