Fraser *On Trial in His New Home*

*FRASER IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Hey to all you Tradies out there! Do you need a work companion? A mate who’ll cruise around with you in the ute? A dog to roughhouse with and be the best companion you’ve ever had? Then meet Fraser! This young puppy weighs in at 16 kilos and he’s not quite 4 months old – he is a big, goofy lump of love! His mother is a Great Dane x Ridgeback (he has a little idge on his face) while his father is unknown but we wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some Labrador in him. He is going to be a big, boy boy – his paws are already the size of his foster carers palm!

Fraser is a brilliant pup who loves to wrestle with his foster carers using his huge paws to affect, but he is very gentle with his foster brothers (Jack Russells) as well as his foster mums’ cat! He is quick to learn and has learnt to ‘sit’ on command as well as knowing ‘leave’ and ‘off’ for when he hops up on the couch uninvited. He can be a little bouncey when you first meet him though seems to be growing out of that habit. \ He likes to lean against you and he likes to sit and watch his foster mum or if she’s in the kitchen preparing dinner he’ll lie and her feet and quietly snooze – he loves to be near his humans!

Loveable Fraser likes to chew on treats or dog toys, but he’s not destructive. If he has something he should not have a firm ‘leave’ and he will drop it and walk away. He enjoys being outside and is often trying to get his foster brother dogs to come out to play. \ He would do well as an only dog if he was with his humans all the time, but if not he’d need a slightly older, similar sized playful dog to hang out with as he’s used to company. Fraser is not impressed with bathtime though he LOVES to eat water from a hose when he’s “helping” in the garden!

Fraser currently sleeps in his carers garage with a door left open to their garden. He is doing well with his toilet training only having the odd accident inside when someone forgets to let him out. He does sit on the couch but quite often prefers the cooler tiled floor and he’s not yet coordinated enough to jump on the human beds! As he is only just fully vaccinated he hasn’t spent much time on a lead so will need some practice with that in his forever home.
