Norton

Norton is a petite size boy and has reached his full growth potential.

He is a 2.5 year old staffy x who loves nothing more than a good cuddle on the couch with his humans. He's a real 'dog' who loves his bones, going for a good walk, a splash in the water on a hot day and chewing on his doggy toys!

Norton is generally very well behaved and listens to basic commands like, sit, drop, stay and 'on your bed'. He is super well mannered with his food and will sit and wait until told he can eat. He takes treats from your hand incredibly gently and doesn't mind if you pat him or move his bowl while he's eating. He even eats well with other dogs but does get a little protective over his bones if another dog is around but nothing more than a warning growl.

Norton does need to learn about recall but considering how smart he is, and how much he loves food, I'm sure it won't take long to overcome.

Norton doesn't mind being on his own, but he does love a good play and run-around with other dogs so I do recommend regular socialization with other dogs if he doesn't have a friend at home to play with.

Norton can be excited to meet new doggy friends on lead so an owner that can continue to work on this would be great:)

He also gets along fine with our cat after a couple of days of introduction.

All in all, Norton is a pleasure to have around and always puts a smile on our faces.

And ohh.. he also loves to be inside!
