About Snowy
Hi! I'm Snowy - and for a thirteen year old I am a pretty sprightly little fellow!
Currently my life involves amazing beach walks and I share my foster home with some dog and cat siblings. Ideally I would be delighted if my new home has a similar lifestyle. I love my person and while not particularly a 'lap" dog, I do like to sit next to you on the sofa or be close by on my bed. Reassurance and a pat make me very happy.
My appetite is healthy, I just love my food (at some point in the past, I have been used to eating human food - I LOVE potato chips and sweet biscuits) and I will make little snuffling and whiny noises until I get a tidbit - foster mummy is pretty mean with the tidbits, even though I know it's for my own good...
I have learned to do my toilet on my walks morning and evening - but just now and then I do little wee on the tiles under the budgie cage in the middle of the night - I am a bit scared to go into the garage to the indoor doggy toilet when it is dark - although I do go out there during the daytime....
I LOVE my walks - and often look back at my person to make sure I am going the right way and for re-assurance - I have to be a bit careful in the dark (right now I have an early morning walk and an evening walk) and sometimes I miss my step or don't see a gatepost or a tree branch in my way - but I have learned to "sit' and "wait now" when we cross roads. I have a fabulous time on the beach where I run and play with my foster brother Delby - and when it was really hot, I even had a swim and I raced round and round like I do after my bath!
New people can make me a little wary but once I know I am safe with them I settle quickly.
Anyway, enough about me. I’d love to find out about how special you are. I can’t wait to meet you.
