About Chino
Chino unfortunately has a sad story, Chino came into care with us as a cruelty case, he weighed in at 8.2 kg, he was handed into to the local Vet as a stray and these were the Vet notes, Chino was extremely week in the hind legs, severe flea infestation, dermatitis due to flea allergy, unkempt coat and matting of the coat.
He had a body score of 1 out of 5. 1 being emaciated.
This was what the Vet had to say "It is my opinion that this dog has been neglected, his ravenous appetite suggest inadequate nutrition and the flea infestation and matted coat are also evidence of neglect.
Chino has been in care for 2.5 months and is a completely different dog, he is a beautiful weight, his coat is stunning and he is not hungry anymore.
Chino is looking for a special home, one in which he is the only dog, no cats as he will chase if they run, if they don't run he isn't interested.
We feel Chino needs older children as he does have a couple of idiosyncrasies , he is still a little frightened when touched around his back legs, and when you pick him up he gets a little worried.
I love Chino, he has come such a long way and is improving every day, he is fully housetrained and loves the car, and walking he adores as he now has the strength in his back legs to cock his leg on yes every tree.
Please Chino needs love, guidance and a place to call his own.
