Duke

GDRV - Our sweet Duke is ready to find his forever home.
In his former life he lived with 2 little dogs, a cat and young children, however his owner was concerned for her little one’s safety as Duke tends to dance around and has a lethal weapon tail. He would never mean to hurt but he might by accident so we are looking for a home for him that has older children.

As a result of his lethal tail he ended up with a severe case of “Happy Tail”. He has had a long recovery getting his “Happy Tail” sorted out but it is all fixed now and looking as good as ever, just a little shorter. Even when he was wearing the cone to stop him chewing his tail he was still as happy as can be.
Duke is a happy boy who loves to please and especially loves to be with his people.

He gets on well with most other dogs, especially smaller dogs and has a good relationship with the resident cat at his foster home. Duke can react unexpectedly around black dogs as he has difficulty reading their intent and so is not really suitable for dog parks .
