About Shadow
This is Shadow. He was surrendered from a family in Northern Victoria, who were hoping for a pup that could show some great working potential to help them work the sheep on their farm. Shadow, however, is much more comfortable, cuddled up in your arms on the couch.
While his family was heartbroken to see him go, they believed it was the best for him to be able to have a lifestyle with some human attention and creature comforts, over that of a life on the land. Shadow doesn’t stray far from his people, and is incredibly loyal. If you stop somewhere for a moment, he will cuddle up by your feet and wait for you. Wise beyond his years, he is a very sensible, quiet country boy who doesn’t want to cause much of a fuss. He already has some basic obedience, has a decent recall and is house and crate trained. He is just learning the ropes in how to interact with other dogs, and is absolutely loving his time in foster care, being able to play with other puppies. He previously lived with cats and didn’t bother with them at all, however would need a home where chickens are housed securely.
Shadow will be on the larger size of medium when he’s older, already 14 kgs at 5 months of age. However, he doesn’t jump up on people and grew up around small children, who he loved. In only a short amount of time in foster care, he has won the hearts of everyone who has met him. At the vets office, 6 vet nurses were crowded around him cooing over his beautiful nature and handsome coat. He is an allround nice guy, who absolutely deserves a life full of all the creature comforts he desires.
Medical notes
Allergic to Frontline but fine with all other commercial flea preparations.
