Ginny's a quiet, intelligent kitten who will make a lovely companion. She's content to sit back and watch her two sisters run around madly and then beat them both to the top of the cat tree.
She's a fastidious groomer and will often bathe her sisters if she thinks they need it. Her favourite toys are balls of felt and paper. She likes gentle play and quiet cuddles.

Are cats good pets for kids?
Cats can be great pets for children but it is important to consider the age of the cat and the child and the personalities of both. Some cats like to be handled while others prefer to participate in family life from a distance.
Kittens are little balls of energy and require attention, play time and training to become good pets. They are fantastic fun for children old enough assist with care but it's important to note that young kittens (and young children) can be a bit rough in their play. If this is a consern, please consider an older kitten or a cat with a “laid back” personality. Older cats (2 years +) are usually more relaxed and can tolerate a noisy household and the attention of small children. They require less play time and are more content to just be companions around the house.
It is a good idea to arrange to meet your new cat/ kitten prior to adoption to ensure that they have a personality suitable for your home. Bring your children to the meeting to make sure they going to be best friends.

What do I need to buy for my new pet?
• High quality cat food – Eukanuba, Hill Science, Royal Canin, Advance or similar.
• Litter trays – the rule of thumb is one litter tray per cat, plus one as cats don’t like to use dirty trays. Clean regularly.
• A nice soft bed or two – enclosed beds are usually preferred. Place at different (safe) heights around the house to give your cat options.
• Scratching post and toys for daily play sessions! Each cat has a unique personality – you will have lots of fun discovering the toys and type of play your cat likes!
• If you won’t be home for long periods of the day, consider getting your cat a companion. Kittens from the same litter can be great pals!
All the cats and kittens at Kitten Kapers Rescue come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, micro chipped, wormed, flea treated and litter trained. Cats and kittens are also cared for by very dedicated carers in their own homes. They provide all their food and litter, have families and mostly in full time employment. Kitten Kapers Rescue cats and kittens are indoor kitties only and will only go to homes who intend to keep them that way. Adoption fee is not negotiable.
