About Marshall *On Trial in His New Home*
*MARSHALL IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Meet Mellow Marshall! At not yet 4 months old, this boy’s cruisey and loveable nature will capture your heart! With his big soulful eyes and wiggly bum when he greets you, he is the sweetest pup you will ever meet. He has been waiting patiently until he is a big enough boy to find his forever home and now that time has come! Will it be with you?
Marshall is a very clever pup who has already learnt so many things in such a short time! \ He has learnt his name as well as ‘sit’, ‘drop’ and is getting very good at ‘stay’. He sleeps in his crate all night without crying and very rarely has any “accidents” anymore! He is extremely obedient and eager to learn, so will thrive in a home where someone is willing to teach him some new tricks! He will do just about anything for a yummy treat, so this will certainly help with his ongoing training. As he only just had his last vaccinations, Marshall hasn’t spent much time on a lead, so he’ll need a little practice in his forever home, though he always wants to be by your side, so there’s no fear of him running away.
Adorable Marshall loves to laze around on hot days, but most of all he LOVES to swim and play with his big foster siblings! (It was hard to find a profile picture where he wasn’t all wet and muddy!) Although he is still a little boy, he knows he is going to grow up big so always has to do exactly what the big dogs are doing; he even tries to jump up on the back of the ute! \ His favourite thing to do with his foster siblings is swim in the doggy pool, and play fetch on the grass, even though he never wins the race against the big dogs! Marshall does not cry when his humans leave him, but when his dog friends do that is a different story! He always has to have them close by, so a home with a doggy companion would be a must for Marshall.
Speaking of playing, Marshall also loves to play with children! He has met children aged 1 to 10 and is very gentle, following them around trying to convince them to play with him with a big wag of his tail. As he will grow into a big boy, his foster family have been careful to make sure he is well trained and doesn’t jump up, making him a perfect companion for a family with children and a doggy friend :)
Marshall’s mother is a Great Dane x Ridgeback while his father is unknown though we suspect there’s some Labrador in him. Marshall loves food and enjoys a diet of dry puppy food, bones, homemade stews and any form of meat he can get is paws on! He is also an indoor/outdoor dog, and loves to come inside and sleep at your feet (He doesn’t like to cuddle on your lap often, which is a plus as he will grow to be a heavy boy!). You will rarely hear him bark, only barking at the other dogs if they have taken a toy off him and he works very hard to get that toy back in a good game of tug-a-war!
If you are looking for a puppy so easy to train, so loveable and so in love with other dogs and his family, then Marshall is the perfect companion for you! If this sounds like you, please download and complete a SARG Dog Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adoptapet.html

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
