About Edwina
**edwina is going to her new home soon** edwina is the most trusting, easy going, gentle little sweetheart you could wish for. Her disposition is so sunny and affectionate - she will brighten your day with her smiley face and bubbly ways. She has a cheeky side and loves to zoom around the house with a toy to amuse herself and grab your attention. Its hard to comprehend how edwina's former owner could have let her suffer an untreated broken hind leg, which is thought to have happened when she was around 3 months old. Poor girl would have been in agony beyond belief. At 6 months old and in the early stages of pregnancy, she was dumped at the pound. She can't tell us her story, which would be a sad one to say the least. She absolutely adores other dogs of all shapes and sizes and although she is small (3. 5 kg) she enjoys doggy games with the big boys - (the rougher the better). She just loves people, has been extremely well socialised and the housetraining is just about complete. She just takes everything in her stride - even thunder storms - her hair barely sheds and she sits quietly in the laundry trough for her bath. She is not a fussy eater and is food motivated for training purposes. She would enjoy having a doggy friend if you are at work all day but she would also be fine as an only dog if you are working part time or retired. Medical notes
Edwina has a limp and will be visiting the vet. Update: edwina has had a fracture to her leg at some stage -her femur has grown inward at an angle and this means her leg hurts when she straightens. We will organise for edwina to have an operation and then she will be able to hopefully run without a limp and be painfree again. Edwina is still available for adoption but will need some care after her operation to make sure that she is not too active. Please contact us for further information on this lovely girl who has had such a bad start
