About Jett (On Trial 6/1/15) ~ Bull Arab x Mastiff boy
Jett is a Bull Arab x Mastiff, 6 months old and he is already 25kg. He has the most beautiful, friendly temperament and will do anything to please you. \ He can be a little shy at first so he doesn’t jump all over people, he quietly comes up for a pat and once he knows you like him he will not leave your side - he is an amazing dog.
Jett is living with two other dogs, 4 cats and two children (6 and 11yrs) and he is friendly towards everyone and he plays gently with the kids.
Jett sits on command, stays and comes. He sits and stays while his food bowl is put down and waits until the cue “free” to start eating. He is learning to walk on a lead with no issues. He is an intelligent boy and enjoys learning new things.
Jett loves to be inside of an evening when people are home. During the day he loves spending most of his time in the yard gnawing on a meaty bone or playing with the other dogs. He must feel part of the family. It'd be great if there was someone that doesn't work full time, such as a stay at home mum, or someone who works from home or is retired. If everyone works full time then he may need another dog for company.
He is a large puppy and still has some growing to do so will need a yard with 6ft fencing and a daily walk. He has loads of energy but still has a big daytime sleep. He's going to make some family very happy.
For more information or to meet Jett, please contact his foster carer Nikki by email robandnikki@exemail.com.au. Jett is in foster care in Medowie, NSW (Port Stephens, 20 minutes north of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Jett's adoption fee is only $400 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
