George

George is a very active and enthusiastic young man who is full of life and waiting patiently for the right family to come along. George is going to grow to be a medium to large size dog and will need to go to an active home with a family that can ensure that he is taken on long daily walks at least once a day is well socialised with other dogs/people he meets and that he receives further obedience training. George loves to run around a little crazy at times and will jump up when excited so we also recommend that George go to a home with no children under the age of 10yrs or a home with older persons. While at the shelter George has met with many other dogs and although he does get along well with most for the odd few he can be a little over the top and boisterous so he will need to meet with any other dogs that you may already have before his adoption can be finalised.George will need a safe and secure yard with minimum 5ft fencing that is flush to the ground all the way around and of good quality.George will need to be lifetime registered at point of adoption which will incur an additional fee of $51 or $20 for a pensioner.
