About Roxy (D2851)
Staffy X
Looking for help with a wonderfully natured and beautiful 2 \ year old Golden Staffy named Roxy.
From her previous owner:
"Roxy is house trained and loves to be inside wherever the humans are. She has been great company for us and would be for anyone— a single person needing a constant companion that gives out lots of love, or a household full of people, young or old that are looking for a wonderful dog to complete their lives. Whatever the situation Roxy is a girl that likes to be with her family, showing them lots of love, affection and attention. She is interested in whatever you are doing and is always by your side and eager to get involved.
Roxy can be chilled out, hanging with us in the house but can also be lots of fun playing outside. Everyone who has met Roxy falls in love with her beautiful nature. We have seen her playing with children, a 1 year old and 3 year old, they were playing with her, pulling her ears, patting her head, calling out to her and she just soaked it all up, she loved the attention and played with them gently."
From SAFE:
"Roxy was diagnosed with a dislocating knee and SAFE made arrangements for her to have surgery in Perth at the Kalamunda vets. She made it through the surgery fine, however the vet has determined that she is going to need a 2nd operation. We already have someone that definitely wants to adopt Roxy, but her new home will be in Port Hedland, and this 2nd surgery will again be in Perth. Roxy needs to be confined for 1 month PRIOR to the new surgery, and then again, after the surgery, and although her current foster carer loves her, he's unable to keep looking after her. SAFE is seeking a foster carer in Perth who can take Roxy for several months, starting immediately.
SAFE is still seeking donations towards both surgeries. As of January we had received over $500 in contributions, but even with the discount her initial treatment was over $1750, and the 2nd surgery will add to these costs.
Any financial support would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be made via our How to Help/Donate page. Please make donations to the KARRATHA branch (via bank transfer or paypal), and follow with an email to karratha@safe.asn.au specifying details (i.e. amount, 'for Roxy's surgery'). Any amount would be appreciated!"
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
