About Velvet (On Trial)

Velvet here is a young playful girl at only 17 months old. She hasn’t quite got the hang of fetch yet although loves to chase toys we throw for her – she would rather run around with them in her mouth than give them back! She is a very happy friendly girl, and is good with children as she has been around them her whole life. She is eager to please and with continued training she will soon learn not to get so excited on lead- as she is young at the moment everything is just too interesting for her! But just like sister Beckie life at kennels is no place for a young dog and Velvet loves lots of company. If you think you are the perfect match for her, please contact us info@greyhoundrescue.com.au

Adoption details
Once we have found your new greyhound we will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
