About Leroy (adopted 24/1/15) ~ 1yo Staffy mix
Leroy 1 year old male Staffy x. Meet Leroy, a healthy, active and happy boy who gets along well with people and other dogs. He also likes his foster family’s cats, but is blissfully unaware of the fact that they don’t like him very much. Poor, naive Leroy doesn’t yet understand the Ninja Cat attack pose.
Leroy is a very clever boy who is learning basic commands such as, sit, bed and stay. Leroy gets along very well with his mixed breed foster sister and has never shown aggression at feeding time.
As can be seen by the photos, Leroy is a classic water baby and loves to swim and boogie board.
Leroy is very low maintenance with a coat that can easily be cared for by just the occasional bath and brushing. He is a Staffy crossed with possibly red cattle dog or kelpie. He is medium to large sized. Leroy would love to spend some time inside each day to enjoy the company of his beloved human family.
Leroy would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but would also be happy sharing the love with other animals in the home.
If you feel you can provide this super friendly boy with a loving, forever home, please contact Nora on 0418 402 150 or email drnmudgeebranch@yahoo.com.
Leroy is in foster care in Mudgee, NSW. Transport to Newcastle are can sometimes be arranged. Leroy is available for adoption interstate.
Leroy's adoption fee is only $300 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
