About Wally
This gorgeous big goofball is one truly happy soul.
Wally thinks he is a lap dog and would happily climb up on your lap regardless of whether your lap is big enough for him or not. He wants to be with you and he wants cuddles!
Wally just loves people and other dogs but is definitely a bit of a larrikin. He also loves his food (and we mean it... he REALLY loves his food) and playing tug of war or wrestling with the other dogs. Wally would like a family with kids but they do need to be old enough to not be bowled over by him as he bounds past them. He is not a dainty boy, he is a cuddly boy who has a wonderful sense of fun about him. Wally is always happy and even when other dogs are not so nice to him he still loves them and wants to be their friend. Wally is just so loveable that he would be a wonderful family member.
Wally is great with toilet training and could stay in all day without any mishaps. He is not much of a barker nor an escape artist.
We want Wally to have a home full of love, a home where his larrikin temperament is appreciated and valued, a home where he has owners that enjoy a good laugh at his antics and that will love him to bits. If you think you can give our Wally this type of home and you realise that dogs with a bit of character are special and you like dogs that make you laugh but will still give you big cuddles, then please contact Cathy via email and we can arrange for you to meet this very gorgeous boy.
Wally's like all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they feel part of the family. This is particularly so if they are to be an only dog.
Wally is located on the Central Coast of NSW where he lives with his foster family.

Please contact Cathy via email only should you wish to meet Wally. Email will ensure a faster response.
It is really important to us when we screen enquiries that people give us some indication of the type of home that one of our dogs would have with you. People enquiring who address the following are prioritised when it comes to arranging meetings with our dogs. We try and give you a good picture of the dog and we like to receive a good picture of the home you may give them.
We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog/pup may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
