About Voilet
Violet is a blue and white short hair female 18 months old. When Violet was taken to the shelter she was in a shocking state of neglect. She was fur covering bones and growled and hissed whenever served food as she was in a state of self preservation. Her babies had all died as she didn't have enough nourishment to keep them alive and she herself was on the verge of starvation. It wasn't until 6 squawking orphans came into the shelter that she lifted her head and showed any interest. We thought that maybe she would adopt these babies and perhaps start on the road to recovery. Violet raised these orphans as her own and has done a wonderful job. It has also meant that Violet has started to trust humans again through gentle talking, allowing her to approach in her own time and of course feeding her titbits of food. Violet now needs to move from foster care into her forever home but we need someone very special to carry on the work that has started. She needs a relatively quiet household and someone who has the time to put in and allow this little girl to keep developing her trust. The signs are good and she is allowing her foster carers to pat her while she gently purrs. This will be a challenging job but the rewards will be immense as she continues to show affection in response to gentle care and food. If you think you are that special person to help Violet continue on her road to recovery, then please call Joy
