About Tess
Hi, my name is Tess and I am approximately 5 years of age. I came from a rural pound so not much is known about me. I am only a small girl of 14 kilos. I met the vets' cat and was very good with her.
I am a little excitable and anxious though which is no wonder as my life has been one mass of confusion lately after I ended up in the pound. The anxiety leads to a bit of mouthing and licking which Linda is working on and is getting much better. I am very affectionate and want to say hello and then lick every volunteer that comes anywhere near me.
I am very well behaved, not destructive and don't bark. I pull on the lead so they have been walking me on a harness here. Because I have had a rough time of it I need a single dog home where I can be the only princess in residence and regain my confidence.
Adoption details
If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to
http://www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au/index.php/adoption-forms-6
and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan: jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every 2-3 weeks to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
