About Trixie & Bubbles (Trial 20/12/14)~ Mini Foxy pair
Adorable Pair: Trixie, 3 year old female, and Bubbles, 2 year old male, Miniature Fox Terriers, are seeking a home where they can stay together and bring laughs and love to their new family. They are very friendly and cuddly little dogs. They have always lived together and are very close, but they adore people as well and will happily keep you company and be your most loyal friends.
They have been very well socialised with other dogs and puppies and get along fabulously with dogs of all different breeds, sizes and ages. I don't have a cat so I don't know how they would react to one.
Trixie and Bubbles enjoy playing in the yard and romping with our other dogs but they must be predominantly inside dogs: to be safely locked inside when no one is home, welcome in the house to be part of the family, and to sleep inside. They will snuggle up together in a dog bed at night.
You will need solid fencing with solid material underneath such sleepers or concrete and no small gaps because they are small enough to squeeze through tiny spaces. They cannot go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire). Gates need to have locks on them to discourage dog thieves (sad but true).
They are not suitable for children under 10 because they are so small they could accidently get hurt by the littlies.
For more information or to meet Trixie and Bubbles, please ring Robyn 02 4953 7115 (preferred) or 0468 435 587 and leave a message (sorry, no email). Trixie and Bubbles are in foster care in Glendale, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle). Not available for interstate adoption.
Trixie and Bubbles' adoption fee is only $600 for the pair. They are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
