About Bonnie (adopted Jan 15)~ Jack Russell Terrier
Bonnie, 8 year old Jack Russell Terrier, just wants to be loved. She has a most beautiful nature. She is happy to sit at your feet, or follow you around while you're gardening. She had good basic training. She shakes hands, sits pretty and begs, comes when called, and sits when asked.
Bonnie gets along well with other dogs and is living with a kelpie x at the moment. She is food orientated, so I feed them separately. Bonnie loves going for walks and is great on the lead. She is calm and not fearful.
Small dogs like Bonnie often live to approximately 15 years so she still has half her life ahead of her to share with her new family.
Bonnie is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. She treasure time with people. Bonnie would suit anyone that wants a small, loving easy going dog.
For more information or to meet Bonnie, please contact his foster carer Heather on 02-4381-0970 or 0426 218 909. Bonnie is in foster care in Copacabana, NSW (Central Coast) and is available for adoption interstate.
Bonnie's adoption fee is only $250 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
