About Duke
Duke has such a beautiful and loving personality and you couldn't tell that he has had a horrible past life before he came to SHARI.
About a month ago Duke was living in horrible conditions with his 2 brothers and sister. Someone had caught all of them in a trap and took them straight to the pound. No other rescue groups came forward to help his siblings or himself and was saved by another rescue group until he came to us.
Duke and his sister Duchess were picked up in Bundaberg yesterday and despite being absolutely terrified he absolutely loved the 5 hour car trip home.
Duke is social with other dogs and is not reactive to other dogs either.
Duke is fine behind property fencing and has no desire to escape. You will actually often find him sleeping under a tree like a kangaroo!
Duke would love to go to his forever home with his sister Duchess but if you wanted to just adopt Duke, that is ok as long as he has another dog to keep him company!

Duke is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped & heartworm tested.

Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
**Please note that all paperwork including the Microchip Change of owner form will be handed over after the 10 day trial period.**
