About Izara
What a sweetheart and all round great dog!
Izara is very intelligent and has learnt to sit, drop and shake since coming into care. She has done a good job with her toilet training too. If you wanted to go to dog training with her she would whiz through the grades!
Walk time is lots of fun. She would love her new family to keep taking her to the dog park as she gets along with all the other doggies she meets there. She also walks well on the lead and is learning to chase a frisbee or ball. Izara has been in foster care with other dogs and particularly likes to play tug of war with them. If you have a fur-sibling for her she would be very happy. She has met a number of children during her outings and has been very appropriately behaved with all of them.
Inside the house she is a lovely lady! She is happy to curl up by your feet but thinks that cuddle time is the best! And if your looking for a doggie hot water bottle at night then she would happily oblige!
Izara is not a fussy eater and is happy for her foster mum to put her hand in the bowl while she's eating. She has learnt to sit and wait for her meals and takes treats gently. During the day, a Kong or treat ball is a nice challenge that gives her extra yummies! She probably wouldn't like being left by herself for long hours everyday and will need secure fencing as she has the capability to jump though hasn't tried to escape her foster carers as its lots of fun there.
So is Izara your new furbaby??

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
