About Abbey
Abbey is just the sweetest little Dalmatian you will ever find.
Unfortunately Abbey came into our care at 10 1/2 years of age because her owners said it was ‘time for her to move on’. Absolutely heartbreaking for us to see and for poor Abbey who was thrown completely in the deep end and pined for them for days.
She has now settled into her foster home and we feel she is ready to look for her TRUE forever home who will be a very particular type of home that we are sure she will be staying in for the remainder of her years.
Abbeys ideal home will be an older person or couple who can spend most of their days with Abbey. Whether that be at home or able to take her to work with them, she LOVES her humans and wants to be with them all day and night if she can. She is absolutely no trouble though, will just happily curl up near you and rest.
Abbey is an older lady that is quite happy with just a gentle stroll around the block for exercise or will very contently go out into the yard with you to sun herself whilst you do some gardening. Very low maintenance.
Abbey will need to sleep in your room, she loves to be invited into the bed for snuggles (or to sleep) but will happily stay in her own bed on the floor next to you for the night.
Abbey is just going to make the greatest companion for somebody. She will go everywhere with you and do everything you do. She is beautiful and extremely loyal and she deserves to find that special someone to call ‘her human’ for the rest of her life.
Wally's like all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they feel part of the family. This is particularly so if they are to be an only dog.
Abbey is located on the Central Coast of NSW where she lives with her foster family.

When enquiring about Abbey, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog/pup may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
