About Blossom (On Trial 23/11/14)~ Mini Foxy x Chi
ON TRIAL23.11.14 Introducing Blossom a female, 11 week old Chihuahua cross Mini Foxy. Blossom is a very gentle, loving puppy albeit a little shy at times. She is absolutely no trouble at all, one of the sweetest natured pups I have ever fostered.
Blossom loves to play with my 5 month old kitten and also with my own 2 shih tzu crosses, she also likes to go and socialise with my other 2 big dogs (blue cattle dog and Ridgeback).
As you can appreciate Blossom is still only very young and is still mastering the art of house training, so while she is making progress everyday, there will still be little accidents.
Blossom would love to go to a family that has a stay at home parent or if you work full time, someone with a playful pooch (not too big) that will keep her happy and occupied with during the day. Blossom is an inside pup, as she is too small to be an outside dog, she sleeps in her day bed through the day and has her own night bed in my bedroom for her night sleeps. Blossom never wakes you in the morning but lays in her bed until you get up or occupies herself with her toys. Blossom is obedient however as with all pups will benefit from puppy training.
She will need secure fencing in the yard, no wire as she is small and we don't want her getting out. If you have a pool, the fencing will have to be reinforced with mesh as she can fit through. Blossom is only available for adoption to the following areas: Newcastle, Hunter, Port Stephens and Central Coast areas. (Not available for interstate)
For more information or to meet Blossom please send an email to: krystina_ws@hotmail.com. Blossom is in foster care in Tingara Heights, NSW (Lake Macquarie).
Blossom’ $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
