About Oakley
Oakley Blue Heeler 18months Salt & Pepper colour
Desexed Vaccinated Microchipped
Oakley is cat friendly, barks when he sees them through windows but not at all bothered when in the same room as them. This young boy is house trained and walks on a lead well, he doesn’t pull and just enjoys a casual stroll around the block.
Oakley is inquisitive when on car rides , likes to have a look about and for long rides he just settles down and snoozes while you cruise.
He’s been having a ball playing with his foster sister - an 8 month old female kelpie cross. They are separated at feeding times, Oakley has come from the pound and gets a little possessive with his food. He is fine with people taking food off him, it only seems to be a little problem with other dogs trying to get near his food.
Oakley is fantastic with children he has been playing with his foster carer’s 4 year old son, who thinks the world of him.
This dog is a big softy, he loves a cuddle. He follows his foster carer around the house all day. He would suit any family, an older person looking for a companion, a young family such as his foster carer. He is the perfect dog. He is my first foster dog and I cannot fail on my first attempt. He will definitely be a hard dog to say goodbye to.
He’s not a very graceful dog and has trouble jumping onto outdoor chairs, he would have a lot of trouble escaping anywhere.
Oakley will need some training, he has picked up a lot in the short time that I’ve had him, but still needs work in that department.
Oakley is waiting in Werribee to meet you.
