About Taz ~ On Trial 4/12/2014
Introducing Taz - a stunning and chilled out 5 month Rotti cross puppy. Taz is a gentle old soul in the body of a puppy. Taz prides herself on being a low maintenance girl amongst her 3 sisters - she will happily laze on the couch all day and watch her foster siblings rumble from afar. She has a laid-back temperament - she's not destructive or high energy. Taz is the smallest amongst her sisters’, she knows that all good things come in small packages!
Taz loves kids of all ages and sizes and she's very gentle with them. Even though she's a large pup her relaxed nature means she doesn't knock little children over in play. Taz would really suit a furever home with children that she can be best mates and grow up with. Taz is in foster care with 5 other dogs so she is dog social, however her attention and love is definitely focused more on her humans than other dogs. She would suit an active couple of any age or a young family with children. She would also suit a family with an existing adult sensible dog who will help remind her what it's like to be a dog and who can be a great role model for her as she grows up.
Taz enjoys a daily walk or trot around the block - she finds all the sights and smells in the big wide world very interesting. She would love to join her family on fun outdoor activities and then will happily recharge her batteries in a puppy slumber in a warm cosy bed (or on the lounge if allowed!)
Taz sleeps throughout the night and is house trained. She is not fussy with her food, in fact she loves her food so much that she often lays in her food bowl whilst "grazing" and she has often fallen asleep laying in the bowl!
Taz needs to be allowed inside when her family is home - dogs and puppies enjoy being part of the family and get comfort from being inside with their humans. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Taz's sisters Precious, Stella and Jemima are also available for adoption.
For more information or to meet Taz, please contact Deanne on 0414 419 432 or email deanne.82@hotmail.com. Taz is in foster care near Wyong, NSW (Central Coast) and is available for adoption interstate.
Taz's adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping and registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
