About Lee Roy
Meet Lee Roy. This beautiful boy is a ridgeback x mastiff, but is quite small for his breeds. Even though he is middle aged, Lee Roy has unfortunately never really been settled anywhere. He has been shuffled through several different homes before coming into our care. And this time, we are going to find the right home for him to live out his years.
Lee Roy would make a fabulous family pet as he is great with kids and loves nothing more than going for a walk with his foster family each day. He is a very obedient boy and knows his basic commands. Doesn’t jump up and will sit calmly at your feet for a pat.
He also loves to come inside to spend some time with the family and although he doesn’t mind being outside, he will need to go to a home that will have him inside as well to make him feel part of the family.
Lee Roy is dog friendly, so he’d love to meet any potential fur siblings at a meet and greet. Otherwise, Lee Roy would be fine as an only dog too.
Lee Roy is a lovely natured dog that will suit any family household.
Wally's like all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they feel part of the family. This is particularly so if they are to be an only dog.
Lee Roy is located on the Central Coast of NSW where he lives with his foster family.

When enquiring about Lee Roy, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog/pup may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
