About Boston (On trial 28/12/14)
Boston is a 5 month old Bull Mastiff x. He is an absolute ladies man. He is affectionate and loving with people and also loves to wrestle with other dogs. Boston has had a bit of a rough start to life but this has not stopped him. He is great with other dogs however does not guidance in settling down as he gets very excited. Boston loves to cuddle up at night time and any time. He is happiest relaxing watching television with his foster mum and dad.
Boston has had no exposure to cats so unsure how we will go with them. He needs a family where he is included in activities and is allowed indoors at times. He would ideally have another medium to large dog friend in his adoptive home as he enjoys company during the day. He had a foster sister the same age and similar height and they were the best of friends, wrestling all day and cuddling at night time. He loves to go to the beach and play with other dogs. He is still unsure of how to play fetch. He is currently medium sized but will be a large dog when fully grown.
Boston has spent time with children over the age of 6 and was perfect. Unsure how he would go under the age of 6 but he might accidently knock them over so probably not the ideal to live with them. Boston sleeps outdoors with his furry blankets in a covered area. If he is to sleep outside in his forever home he'll need a kennel under cover of a verandah, or better yet, indoor privelages. Boston does not bark often only to let you know if someone is near the house.
Boston's beautiful big brown eyes and pink and black spotted nose is sure to melt anyone’s heart. He is a big, friendly giant and would make the perfect addition to a caring family.
For more information or to meet Boston, please contact his foster carer Lucy on 0432518578 or email lucymagann@hotmail.com. Boston is in foster care in Mayfield, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Boston's adoption fee is only $400 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
